Wright-Inspired
This vacation home, heavily influenced by John Van Bergen, is a true tribute to architect Frank Lloyd Wright. As an excellent example of an early Prairie-Style home, Fleur de Montagna exists in perfect harmony with its surroundings. The low-pitched rooflines and natural materials used in construction, along with luxurious comfort and thoughtful design perfectly reflect Wright’s philosophy.
Born in Wisconsin in 1867, Wright’s brilliant career spanned seven decades. He believed that buildings should be in harmony with their environment, both in their design and their materials. He famously sought to create structures that were not simply built on a landscape but were “of the land.”
“No details spared in this lovingly created house, inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. Home was spotless, and everything worked perfectly during an intense winter storm, so comfy while we enjoyed the amazing country nearby. perfect for our family of three, we will look to come back again!”
